Sales Lead

From the moment our customers arrive in our parking lot to when they leave on their bicycles or drive away, our Sales team are our Guides, taking our customers through everything they need to accomplish their cycling goals, keep their bicycles performing as designed, and ensuring they will have a great experience on their rides.

As a Sales Lead, this role will serve as the store’s primary salesperson, and this role will oversee the day-to-day operation of our sales team, including but not limited to: goal setting and review; individual and team coaching; & constant continuous improvement initiatives. 

The candidate for this role should be comfortable with customer outreach and have a strong individual drive. The candidate should also possess a deep desire to learn. 

Performance Expectations:

  • Develop your sales and hospitality skills through training, role-playing and on-the-job experience.
  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets of at least $400,000 annually for full-time Sales Associates.
  • Learn about bikes, components, apparel, and technology.
  • Participate in daily huddles and debriefs.
  • Use the Guide Sales Process to provide our customers with incredible hospitality.
  • Follow through on Quotes and Lead List communications.
  • Make decisions regarding the care of—and doing the right thing for—our customers.
  • Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing Trek U modules to further your knowledge of our products, services, and procedures.
  • When not actively taking care of customers, you will be helping to:
  • Complete Daily Task List assignments.
  • Maintain all aspects of store merchandising according to the visual merchandising standards, including product placement, price auditing, and product re-stocking.
  • Assemble, or pre-assemble, new bicycles.
  • Prep customer bikes for service by our Service or Production Technician.

Part-Time Associate

Our Part Time Associates wear a variety of hats at the bike shop, and are responsible for filling in the gaps within our Sales and Service departments, or supporting those teams unequivocally. 

As a Part Time Associate, your job will differ from day to day based upon the evolving and seasonal needs of the business. Your tasks will range from daily clean up to bicycle assembly, as well as sales activities and supporting the service team. This role truly embraces the manta “jack of all trades”. 

A successful candidate should have a strong willingness to learn, and a passion for community. Our mission at the bike shop is to help our customers maximize their experience with bikes, and this idea should be front and center on a daily basis.
